Helping millions to make better decisions

Who Are We?

A GeoAI Company

Mapizy is built upon over a decade of R&D in leading academic and industry organisations. Our mission is to quantify the changing planet and create advanced geospatial analytics for industry. Equipped with this new type of information, businesses can make better decisions and improve performance.

  Our Story

Mapizy was born out of a need to better understand and monitor the built and natural environment. Accurate and current geospatial data is the key ingredient to overcome this challenge. In 2014 when Mapizy was founded, geospatial data generation was still a manual process and most of the existing data was old from 6 months to 2 years. Lack of good quality data caused businesses significant losses annually.

In a relatively short space of time, our technology was utilised by many businesses in Australia and overseas, recognised by leading academic and industry organisations and awarded several competitive grants by the Australian government.

In 2018, we worked with insurance companies during the CSIRO ON Prime program to customise our geospatial analytics services to their needs and in 2019 our property analytics solution was awarded by Deloitte, IAG and RAA. In 2021, we launched our property analytics platform designed for the insurance and real estate markets and the user base for our on-demand analytics is rapidly growing.
